Het Auto Finesse Revitalise System V2 Autopolijstkit is een driestaps machinepolijstprogramma voor lakcorrectie en de oplossing om je lakwerk thuis met professionele resultaten te perfectioneren. Ontwikkeld in samenwerking met onze DPX Machine Polisher en MPX Dual Action Machine Polisher – specifiek om lakrestauratie, correctie en verfijning zo eenvoudig mogelijk te maken – biedt dit kleurgecodeerde systeem drie soorten compound en foam machinepolijstpads die speciaal zijn geselecteerd om in harmonie te werken en elke glanzende lakafwerking te revitaliseren, en oxidatie, hologrammen, waterspots, etsing en zelfs swirls te verwijderen. Alle lakcorrectieprocessen maken gebruik van schurende polijstmiddelen en compounds om de bovenste laag van de blanke lak (of enkelvoudige toplaag) over en rondom gebreken te egaliseren totdat ze de bodem van het diepste defect bereiken. In plaats van het defect direct te verwijderen, wordt een microscopische laag van het gehele gebied eromheen weggehaald, totdat het defect eenvoudigweg verdwijnt. Deze actie heeft als effect dat de bovenste laag wordt geëgaliseerd en gladgemaakt door mechanische slijtage, een proces dat bekend staat als 'cutting'. Polijstmiddelen en compounds zijn beschikbaar in verschillende gradaties, die verwijzen naar de grofheid van de schurende deeltjes in hun oplossing. Dit is direct evenredig aan de hoeveelheid oppervlak die het specifieke product verwacht weg te nemen, ofwel het 'niveau van cut'. Een grove compound, zoals de Revitalise No:3 Restoring Compound, heeft een hoger snijniveau dan een fijne compound, omdat het meer van het oppervlak wegsnijdt tijdens gebruik. Even belangrijk is de agressiviteit van de machinepolijstpads die je gebruikt. Polijstpads komen in verschillende gradaties en hoe dichter het schuim in hun constructie is, hoe meer deze schurende pads het oppervlak snijden in combinatie met een schurende compound. Harder, dichter schuim wordt gebruikt voor het snijden omdat het meer schuring, meer oppervlaktecontact en daarmee meer warmte brengt. Lichter, minder dicht schuim is meer geschikt voor verfijning en afwerking van lak. Dit is precies de reden waarom we onze pads en compounds hebben kleurgecodeerd om ervoor te zorgen dat ze de perfecte combinatie vormen voor elke fase van snijden en verfijnen. Onze drie gradaties van Revitalise Compounds en Revitalise Foam Pads variëren van een grove herstellende compound en padcombinatie (oranje), via een medium polijstcompound en padcombinatie (geel), tot een fijne verfijnende compound en padcombinatie (rood), waardoor je alle opties hebt om alles aan te pakken, van lichte oxidatie tot zwaardere krassen en swirls. Volg gewoon het 1-2-3 systeem, en je kunt niet fout gaan. Revitalise Compounds zijn alleen voor correctie en verfijning, en bevatten geen wassen of vulstoffen, waardoor deze serie de perfecte keuze is voor het verwijderen van gebreken en verfijning vóór het aanbrengen van een beschermende laag, waaronder keramische coatings. De Revitalise V2 kit bevat alle extra benodigdheden - van Pad Prime tot Masking Tape. Inbegrepen in de Revitalise V2 Kit zijn de volgende producten: 1 x Revitalise No:1 Restoring Compound en Revitalise Pad No1: Restoring Pad (Oranje) De eerste stap in het Revitalise proces naar een fijn gesneden afwerking van de lak. Onze Revitalise No:1 Restoring Compound en No:1 Pad Combo zijn ontwikkeld om diepe swirls te verwijderen en vermoeide lak, die geplaagd is door oxidatie, te herstellen, wat zorgt voor een veel snellere en algehele schonere werkervaring. Deze grove compound heeft een snijniveau van 4/5 en onze 5-inch high density foam pad is gemaakt van stevig open cell foam. 1 x Revitalise No:2 Polishing Compound en Revitalise Pad No2: Polishing Pad (Geel) Onze Revitalise No:2 Polishing Compound en No:2 Pad combo is de tweede stap in het proces. Deze compound heeft een snijniveau van 3/5 en onze No:2 Polishing pad is gemaakt van medium density open cell foam. 1 x Revitalise No:3 Refining Compound en Revitalise Pad No3: Refining Pad (Rood) De laatste stap in het proces is het verfijnen tot een vlekkeloze afwerking, hiervoor hebben we onze Revitalise No:3 Refining Compound en No:3 Refining Pad. Essentieel voor het egaliseren van de optische afwerking van je lak, het creëren van glans en het verzekeren dat alle hologrammen van de voorgaande polijststadia worden verwijderd, bevat deze combo een zachte foam open cell pad, en de compound heeft een snijniveau van 2/5. 1 x Pad Cleaning Brush Onze Pad Cleaning Brush is speciaal ontworpen voor het verwijderen van gebruikte polijstmiddel en resten tijdens je machinepolijststadia. Bij het polijsten van een volledig voertuig kan een polijstpad verstopt raken met overtollige resten, en deze regelmatig uitborstelen houdt dit tot een minimum. Laat de pad cleaning brush eenvoudig over het oppervlak van de pad lopen met je machinepolijstmachine in werking (van het voertuig af gericht), en de stevige borstelharen helpen om opgebouwde resten te verwijderen. 2 x Microfibre Work Cloths De klassieke Microfibre Work Cloth is een van onze meest veelzijdige doeken, en de ideale microvezel voor het veilig wegvegen van polijstresten. Met een afmeting van 400 mm x 400 mm, zijn deze 300 GSM doeken gemaakt van zachte witte microvezel en een essentieel hulpmiddel in het proces. 1 x Pad Prime Pad Lubricant Auto Finesse Pad Prime Pad Lubricant is het ideale product voor het voorbereiden van je machinepolijstpads voor gebruik. Pad Prime elimineert droog schuren wanneer een nieuwe foam pad wordt gebruikt voor lakcorrectieprocessen, dit helpt om ongewenste gebreken te voorkomen en zorgt ervoor dat de pad soepel over het oppervlak glijdt zonder te haperen of te stoten. Made with 48% T1 Grade Brazilian Carnauba Wax by volume, synthetic polymers, and gloss-intensifying oils to deliver the deepest, wettest shine ever.  Illusion wax isn't designed to offer the most durability but can provide 2-3 months of staying power to keep your show car protected through periods of time that its resting up or in storage. Application: Before applying any wax, make sure the vehicle is clean. Use a clay bar to ensure there is no bonded contamination on the surface. If paintwork hasn’t been polished in the last 6-12 months it’s wise to prep the surface with a pre-wax cleanser, or even a multi stage machine polish to attain the best possible results. Use a foam applicator (Waxmate) at half a turn in the wax pot – this coats it ready for waxing. Apply using small, even and overlapping strokes. Wax goes a long way so use sparingly. One you’ve completed one panel, move to the next panel, then when that is complete buff off the previous. If wax has dried, or ‘secondary hazing’ of the wax occurs (A phenomenon which can sometimes happen in hot or humid climates, especially if the product was over-applied.), you can use a water-based quick detailer (Finale) to help ease removal of the residue. It’s important to wait at least 3 hours in between coats or layers of wax and don't wax it if the ambient temperature is below 6 degrees Celsius or above 25.
